Is it still worth starting a YouTube channel in 2026?

Admin Team · 25 Sep 2026 01:21
YouTube already has millions of creators, so it is understandable for beginners to wonder whether they are too late. But new channels are still being created every day. If someone in the UK asked you whether they should start a channel in 2026, what would you tell them? Which types of content do you think still have opportunities? And what expectations should a beginner have during their first year? Interested to hear from both new creators and people who have been creating for years.

I definitely think it’s still worth starting. There are millions of creators, but there are also millions of people looking for something new to watch every day. I think the mistake is expecting quick results. Your first year should probably be more about learning what works, improving your videos and finding your audience. I’d rather start now and have 50 videos and a lot more experience a year from now than spend another year wondering if it’s too late.
